Meet Bobby Daniel....
Bobby Daniel is a native of Oklahoma City and a Graduate of the University of Oklahoma. During the five years he spent at OU, he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, 1967 and a Master's Degree in Economics and Finance, 1968. During his graduate work, he was selected by the Department of Economics to teach undergraduate economics as a Graduate Assistant to the Chairman of the Department of Economics.
In 1967, prior to enrolling in the graduate program at OU, he was commissioned into the United States Air Force as a 2nd Lieutenant. Upon graduation, he began four years of active duty as a Purchasing and Contracting Officer for the USAF and achieved the rank of Captain before resigning his commission to pursue a career in industry.
In 1972, Bobby joined Kentucky Fried Chicken Corporation and was eventually promoted to Director of Operations/Administration for the National Management Company that operated some 850 stores that were then owned by the stockholders of Heublein Corporation. During his employment at KFC, he became a close friend of the company founder, Colonel Harlan Sanders, who personally nominated Bobby to the honorary rank of Kentucky Colonel. He resigned from KFC to own and operate a mid-western pizza franchise in Houston, Texas. He sold the company in 1979 and was recruited by Al Copeland, founder and owner of Popeye’s Famous Fried Chicken, New Orleans, Louisiana as Vice President of Operations with responsibility for approximately 85 restaurants in New Orleans, Atlanta and Houston.
In 1982, an opportunity presented itself in the rapidly expanding home medical equipment industry in Oklahoma City. As a result, he resigned his position with Popeye’s and returned to Oklahoma City to own and operate American Respiratory and Rehabilitation until 1996 when he sold the company to Rotech, a large, international medical conglomerate. During his tenure as President of American Respiratory, he founded American Business Forms, a printing company that markets copyrighted forms, tags and labels that he designed to streamline his own medical operation to independent medical dealers across the United States. In addition, he invested in and eventually became sole owner of “Sweete Memories, A Specialty Bakery,” which is known to this day for beautiful gift baskets filled with luscious, hand made sweets that are delivered locally and shipped coast to coast every day of the week. In addition to the baskets, the bakery, which celebrates it’s 25th anniversary in the fall of 2006, is famous in Oklahoma City for it’s wonderful selection of home made and hand decorated birthday and wedding cakes.
Most important of all his endeavors is his career in residential real estate with Keller Williams. Bobby devotes virtually all his professional time and energy towards servicing his real estate clients. He realizes that the sale and/or purchase of a home are among the most important and life changing events in an individual’s life. His real love is working with families that are relocating to the Oklahoma City/Edmond area from out of state. His goal is not only to find his clients the right home at the right price but to establish relationships that will last a lifetime.
